Napoli beat Fiorentina 2-1 at home thanks to goals by Romelu Lukaku and Giacomo Raspadori to trim champions Inter's lead at the top of Serie A back down to one point.
Albert Gudmundsson was on target for seventh-placed Fiorentina.
Inter, who have 61 points from 28 games, came from behind to beat Monza 3-2 at San Siro on Sunday.
Bologna continued their strong form earlier on Sunday with a 2-1 win at Hellas Verona thanks to goals in each half by Jens Odgaard and Nicolo Cambiaghi. Daniel Mosquera pulled one back for Verona, who had defender Nicolas Valentini sent off in the 70th minute for a second yellow card.
Bologna are sixth with 50 points and are level on points with fifth-placed Lazio, who entertain Udinese on Monday.
Verona are 15th with 26 points.
