The Death Row Records CEO, known for his funny social media posts as much as his music, shared the video to his 88 million followers.

He captioned it with just a string of laughing emojis — a clear stamp of approval from the king of internet humour.

The clip, titled Fake Greeting Prank, features Mully pulling cheeky stunts on unsuspecting strangers at Uhuru Park.

In one scene, he appears to be on a phone call while seemingly reaching out to greet someone, only to swerve at the last second and leave the person hanging and visibly confused.

In another, he asks for directions mid-phone call, then offers a handshake as appreciation, only to pull it back just before contact.

The timing, delivery, and reactions are what make the video pure comedic gold.

The skit is set to the popular Kasongo Yeye sound, originally from an old hit by the Super Mazembe band.

In recent times, the song has been revived and widely used as a moniker for President William Ruto.

This is not the first time the hip hop icon has shown love to Kenyan content.

In a previous viral moment, he cracked up his followers by sharing a video of former deputy president Rigathi Gachagua.

In the clip, Gachagua was seen whistling and flipping through papers during a heated press briefing on the eve of the impeachment motion against him in Parliament.

Many social media users have flooded the comment section to applaud Snoop for recognising Kenyan talent.

Others simply shared hilarious reactions to the prank itself.

In a lighter moment from the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, Snoop, who served as Team USA’s official mascot, stole the spotlight with his playful energy and wholesome interactions.

Among those he crossed paths with was Kenyan-born athlete Winfred Yavi, who represented Bahrain and made history by securing the country’s first medal in the competition.

After her victory, Yavi posted a video with Snoop as part of her celebration.

The rapper complimented her performance, calling her a great runner and joining in on the celebration with his trademark charm.
