According to Skyscanner’s Travel Trends 2025 Report, price remains a significant factor in the decision-making process for Indian travellers, with 62 per cent highlighting that flight costs are a crucial consideration. In response, the DROPS feature provides a straightforward solution, allowing users to effortlessly track and secure discounted flights.

By simply logging into the Skyscanner app, travellers will gain access to a daily selection of DROPS, highlighting flights departing from nearby airports that have experienced significant price drops. These deals represent flights that have seen reductions of at least 20 per cent or more compared to their lowest price in the past week. With Skyscanner continuously searching for these deals globally, users can trust that they’ll never miss a price drop again.

In January, Goa was the most popular domestic destination, while Bangkok led internationally in terms of the number of DROPS. The most popular day for discovering DROPS was Friday, reflecting an emerging trend of bargain hunters looking to secure weekend deals.
