has confirmed plans for new album ‘Swallow The Knife’.
The alt singer has been on the road for the past 12 months, playing high profile support slots with the likes of Halsey, PIXIES, Beck, and French legends Phoenix.
In between all that, Sir Chloe has found time to record a new album. Working out of a studio in London, she sings, plays, guitar, and all synths – and the results are out shortly.
, ‘Swallow The Knife’ features 11 songs, led by new single ‘The Hole’.
Online now, it veers between blackened darkness and blinding light, and was partly inspired by an exhibition at MASS MOCA by Taryn Simon called The Cold Hole.
Sir Chloe explains…
“It was a snow covered room with a deep black circular ice plunge in the middle. Museumgoers could volunteer to plunge while viewers watched as though it were a zoo exhibit. After I saw ‘The Cold Hole,’ I called the deep dark winters of our lives ‘The Hole.'”
Tune in now.
