CID 2 is currently making headlines. Much has been discussed about this television serial. The show has remained a top favorite for many. It first aired in 1998 and captured countless hearts. When it went off-air in 2018, fans were left deeply disappointed. The affection for the show never waned, and viewers continuously urged the creators to revive it.

As a result, CID 2 returned in 2024. Shivaji Satam, Dayanand Shetty, and Aditya Srivastava reprised their roles as ACP Pradyuman, Daya, and Abhijeet. These characters have become legendary, and their popularity continues to grow. However, fans faced another wave of disappointment when news surfaced about ACP Pradyuman’s death.

Shivaji Satam confirmed he was not filming for the show and would no longer appear as Pradyuman. The death scene was deeply moving, given the character’s immense popularity. Following this, Parth Samthaan joined the show as ACP Ayushmaan. Yet, fans expressed frustration over the decision to eliminate such a pivotal character.

Reports then emerged that the makers planned to bring back Shivaji Satam as ACP Pradyuman, though no one officially confirmed this. Now, Parth has posted a video on his Instagram stories, showing him shooting with Shivaji Satam. This has been a thrilling surprise for fans, who were overjoyed to see ACP back on set.

In the video’s caption, Parth wrote, “Shooting with ACP Pradyuman aka @shivaaji_satam was a delight and full of entertainment... gem of a guy.” Fans are ecstatic about Shivaji Satam’s return. A few days earlier, Shivaji Satam himself hinted at his comeback as ACP. He shared an Instagram post featuring ACP Pradyuman’s famous line, ‘Kuch to gadbad hai,’ which fueled fans’ hopes that he was indeed returning.
