Fans Shower Love On Parth Samthaan's ACP Ayushmaan, As Makers Release New CID 2 Promo: 'The Tension, The Rivalry' - Entertainment
Actor Parth Samthaan rose to prominence with his portrayal of Manik Malhotra in the show Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan, a loose adaptation of the famous Korean drama Boys Over Flowers. Having made a name for himself in the television industry and gained fame, he was scrutinized recently for seemingly replacing Shivaji Satam’s character ACP Pradyuman, who is reportedly killed by a gangster named Barbosa, played by Tigmanshu Dhulia. However, it seems like his character ACP Ayushmaan is growing on the audience.
The makers of CID 2 recently took to social media to share a new promo, featuring Parth. In the video, he is seen interacting with Abhijeet, played by Aditya Srivastava, and Daya, played by Dayanand Shetty. His no-nonsense portrayal of ACP Ayushmaan has left the audiences impressed. He tells them that they only thing that impresses him are results. As Daya quickly reassures him that they will deliver the results to him, “a dead Barbosa,” Ayushmann fires back, “You guys are CID officers, not gangsters. You just catch Barbosa. Law and order will take care of the rest.”
Irked by the new ACP’s attitude, Abhijeet tells him that it will be them who will decide Barbosa’s fate. Ayushmaan bluntly tells him, “Kab tak ACP Pradyuman ki maut par aansu bahaaoge? Ye jo dard hai, emotions, aansu inn sabki potli bana kar office ke bahar latka kar aaya karo.” His cutting words leave Abhijeet and Daya fuming.
Well it is safe to say that the new gripping drama has already left the audiences intrigued and engaged. While a section of the internet is trolling Parth, most of them are heaping praises on him and his portrayal of ACP Ayushmaan.
