'She hasn't given us reputation yet': Millie Bobby Brown updates her past self with Taylor Swift tea in a new Netflix interview

Published 1 day ago4 minute read

Millie Bobby Brown recently made her big movie comeback with The Electric State from the Russo Brothers. The film, also starring Chris Pratt, premiered on Netflix on March 14. In a unique Netflix interview, Millie Bobby Brown from The Electric State (2025) sat down with Millie Bobby Brown from Damsel (2024) and gave her past self the scoop on everything that's been happening with Taylor Swift over the last year.

As a dedicated Swiftie, Millie has often expressed her admiration for Taylor Swift. In the interview, she couldn’t help but gush about Taylor's relationship with NFL star Travis Kelce. Of course, like every Swiftie, past Millie was eager to know about the release of Reputation.

In a fun time-travel Q&A, Millie answered questions from her past self. After a brief conversation about her excitement for being a bride, the pair dove into the important stuff—like how many albums Taylor had released in the past year. Millie admitted she had been eagerly waiting for Reputation but also acknowledged how busy she’s been with her own career. "She hasn't given us Reputation yet," she said, but acknowledged, "She's busy."

When past Millie asked if Taylor and Travis were still together, present Millie confirmed, “They are together, and they are thriving.” However, when past Millie inquired about whether they had tied the knot, Millie quickly shut it down, saying, “No, they are not married. There are no updates on their relationship other than the fact that we occasionally see them leaving restaurants together.”

Millie even shared that she has a dedicated album on her phone to track Taylor and Travis’s public appearances—talk about a true Swiftie! Fans couldn’t get enough of her enthusiasm, with one writing, "Millie is such a big Swiftie, and I love it! This is exactly how I update my friends about Taylor and Travis. Also, which one of you is Millie? Show yourself."

Another fan shared their joy, saying, "It's so fun to see someone famous get as excited about Taylor's life as we do. Who doesn't have a screen grab of Taylor and Travis looking all cute together? Did you know Taylor wrote Teardrops on My Guitar about a guy from high school? And he didn’t even know it was about him until he heard it on the radio! How awkward is that? Anyway, it's awesome to see Taylor doing well, and I’m glad Millie feels the same way. Let’s keep supporting her."

A third fan commented, "She is so me-coded for this."

Millie has often shown her love for Taylor, and this isn't the first time. Back in 2023, when she announced her engagement to Jake Bongiovi, she quoted Taylor Swift's lyrics, saying, "I've loved you three summers now, honey, I want 'em all."

During one of Taylor's Eras tour concerts, Millie wore a Lover-inspired outfit, drawing inspiration from Taylor’s tattooed look on the album cover.
