The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has announced the Class 10 Matric Result 2025. The results were officially declared by Bihar’s Education Minister, Shri Sunil Kumar, in the presence of Shri S. Siddharth, Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department, and Shri Anand Kishore, Chairman of the Bihar School Examination Committee.
The BSEB conducted the Class 10 annual examinations from February 17 to 25, 2025. Around 15.85 lakh students appeared for the exam. While the results were declared on March 31 last year, the board decided to announce them earlier this year due to Eid festivities on March 31 and March 30 being a Sunday.

Rewards for Bihar Matric Toppers 2025
This year, the Bihar Board has increased the prize money for the top 10 rank holders:
1st Rank: Rs. 2 lakh (previously Rs. 1 lakh)
2nd Rank: Rs. 1.5 lakh (earlier Rs. 75,000)
3rd Rank: Rs. 1 lakh (up from Rs. 50,000)
4th to 10th Rank: Rs. 20,000 (previously Rs. 10,000)
Bihar Board Matric Result 2024
In 2024, the Bihar Board 10th exam results were declared on March 31, with an overall pass percentage of 82.91%. This was nearly a 2% increase from the previous year.
Topper: Shivankar Kumar from District School, Purnia, secured 97.80% (489 marks).
Second Rank: Adarsh Kumar from V High School, Movajidpur North, Samastipur, scored 97.60% (488 marks).
Students should keep their admit cards handy to quickly access their roll numbers. In case of any discrepancies in the result, they should immediately contact their respective schools or the Bihar Board office.
