March Madness is finally here, as the NCAA Tournament is set to tip off on Tuesday with two play-in games. This will be followed by two more play-in games on Wednesday before the rest of the round of 64 tips off on Thursday and Friday.

Across the country, thousands of people are eagerly filling out their brackets in anticipation of the tournament, with college basketball analysts joining in as well. One of the most anticipated predictions is which team will win the national championship.

Could it be one of the No. 1 seeds, like the Auburn Tigers or the Duke Blue Devils? Perhaps a No. 2 seed, such as St. John's or the Tennessee Volunteers? Or maybe a surprising team like the No. 6 seed BYU Cougars or the No. 8 seed Mississippi State Bulldogs will take the title?

CBS Sports' Seth Davis completed his bracket and revealed his pick for the champion: the Duke Blue Devils, fresh off winning their conference tournament.

The Blue Devils had an impressive run in the ACC Tournament despite losing their star forward Cooper Flagg (18.9 points, 7.5 rebounds) in the first half of their opening game against Georgia Tech. Nevertheless, Duke managed to secure victories over Georgia Tech, North Carolina and Louisville, ultimately winning the ACC Tournament championship.

This season, the Blue Devils have been remarkable. They boast a record of 31-3, which gives them a win percentage of 91.2%, ranking fifth in the school's history. Additionally, their 19-1 record in conference play marks the third-best performance in the university's history.

Davis predicts that the Blue Devils will defeat either American University or Mount St. Mary's in the first round. He also foresees them overcoming Mississippi State, Arizona, BYU, Houston and Florida to clinch the national title. If successful, this would mark Duke's sixth national championship and its first since 2015, placing it in a tie for third place with UConn and North Carolina.

The Blue Devils will begin their quest for the title on Friday at 2:50 p.m. ET on CBS. They will find out their opponent when American University and Mount St. Mary's face off on Wednesday at 6:40 p.m. ET on truTV.
