The boy walking home from school was in the company of his friends, walking home from school while carrying his books in a black polythene paper bag.

The schoolboy's polythene paper made him stand out from his classmates, who all had nice backpacks. The well-wisher was moved by the boy's situation after spotting him.

In a heartwarming video, the well-wisher surprised the young boy with the school bag. In disbelief, he knelt in appreciation, vehemently thanking him.

He excitedly transferred the books to the backpack before his other classmates also appreciated the well-wisher with a round of applause.

The boys went home excitedly, with all of them now appearing equal with their stunning backpacks.

This lovely gesture left many netizens in awe, with others recalling the tough times they faced growing up and attending school with torn backpacks and uniforms.

A user by the name Debbie recalled that as a young girl, she also used paper bags to carry her books to school.

"Now I am too blessed to remember," she noted.

Another netizen identified as Leane Mwesh said the video swept her back to her time in primary school when she lost her parents.

"I remember going through this. I have suffered so much alone," she said.

"So the people in the comment section don't know that we kneel to elders when saying thank you; as long as someone is older than you. You kneel to greet, thank and talk to them."

In a separate story, a kind stranger touched the hearts of netizens after paying a KSh 11k bill breakfast bill for a family.

Besides paying the bill in full, the benevolent man wrote a beautiful letter to the dad aged 41, Mack Slaughter, and hailed him for being a great father to his kids.

The waitress handed Mack the receipt, and he was moved to tears when he saw a handwritten note on it that read, "Thank you for being a great dad."
