Though Ronan has remained largely private about her relationship with actor Jack Lowden, she’s recently opened up about their bond, and the subtle moment she knew he was “the one."

The couple, who met on the set of the 2019 film Mary Queen of Scots, wed last year in a quiet ceremony in Edinburgh after six years together.
Lowden, 34, recently reflected on their early connection during an interview with The Times, revealing how Ronan’s presence on set changed his perspective.

“There was me at 27 thinking about stopping because I felt self-conscious or like I didn’t know how to do it,” he said.
“And then watching this 23-year-old carry the weight of a huge film like that with ease and grace and majesty. It was remarkable to watch.”
As for balancing their careers and marriage, Lowden added, “We just have to check in with each other a lot. Obviously it made it a lot easier when we worked on the same project.”
