Lagos State Governor, Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, is scheduled to hold a crucial stakeholders’ parley with leaders, elected and appointed officials, and all candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) vying for chairmanship positions in the forthcoming July 12th local government elections.

The meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, June 24th, at the State House, Marina, at 12:00 p.m., aims to rally party stalwarts towards a decisive victory in the elections.

According to the statement on Monday by the Lagos APC spokesperson, Seye Oladejo, the “strategic” gathering will serve as a platform for mobilising and galvanising support for the party’s candidates.

He stated that the party’s confidence in securing a landslide victory is rooted in the trust and confidence Lagosians have reposed in the party’s progressive philosophy.

He stated that the party’s unparalleled growth across all sectors in the state has been unprecedented, and the landmark achievements of the local government councils in education, primary healthcare, housing, and social interventions are expected to be rewarded with massive votes at the polls.

“The party’s flag presentation ceremony to the 57 APC chairmanship candidates last week at the state party secretariat in Ogba marked the official commencement of campaigns.

“The ceremony, attended by prominent government and party officials, served as a morale booster for party stalwarts, reaffirming their commitment to another victorious outing.

“Lagos APC acknowledges and appreciates the trust and confidence of Lagosians in our progressive philosophy, which explains the continuous, unparalleled and unprecedented growth across all sectors in the state.

“We are confident that the landmark achievements of our local government councils in education, primary health care, housing and social interventions, among others, will be rewarded with massive votes at the polls for all our candidates,” he said.
