The Toxic Love hitmaker recently took to social media to share a rare throwback photo of himself and fellow entertainer DJ Dibul, giving fans a glimpse of their journey before the fame, the flashy lights, and the packed shows.

The grainy photo, which clearly dates back several years, shows a much younger Samidoh dressed in a red college jacket, a white T-shirt, and a black cap.

Standing beside him is DJ Dibul, also rocking a red jacket and a grey cap, a far cry from their now polished and trendy fashion styles.

Netizens were quick to notice how drastically the two have evolved over the years.

Samidoh looked leaner, his cheekbones visibly defined, while Dibul was almost unrecognisable without the full beard he is known for today.

"Believe me when I tell you there is life after death, DJ Dibul do you hear me?" Samidoh wrote.

DJ Dibul also commented, writing:

"Heri mimi, do you see yourself?"

However, the most striking detail was not their appearance; it was the energy.

The duo stood smiling, radiating a youthful hopefulness that many fans found inspiring.

In the comments, fans were tickled by the banter, with many praising their glow-up. Others were quick to reflect on the raw ambition captured in the photo.

Here are some of their comments:

"Hapa DJ DIBUL hakuwa anajua atakuwa padre siku moja."

"Heri nyinyi mliishi maisha ya uzeeni mapema😂😂😂mlikuwa wazee...aaarrgh."

"True...kama ni wewe ulikua na t/shirt ya timberland na sasa unavaa designer. There's life after death hahaha and also life is for the living."

In other news, Samidoh previously gave fans a rare glimpse of himself in police uniform, reminding many of his dual roles.

While he has carved out a name for himself as a top Mugithi artiste, Samidoh also continues to serve in the National Police Service.

The last public sighting of him in uniform was back in late 2024, when he shared photos and a video online looking sharp in his Administration Police attire.
