Shortly after landing, Samidoh was interviewed by content creator Kururuia in a casual setting, where he opened up about his unexpected return and the swirling rumours about his police job.

“I had a small emergency and so I decided to make a quick run back here to Kenya. I am a law-abiding citizen. Hakuna mtu nimekosea mimi. This is home and I cannot run away from that,” he said.

He continued:

“I have already dealt with the emergency that brought me here and now I want to rush back to the US. I am peaceful and siogopi mtu. I have nothing to fear because there is no mistake that I have made.”

Samidoh also addressed the warrant of arrest that had been issued against him after he was labelled a deserter by the police service.

There had been growing speculation that he would resign from the service, but he made his stance clear.

“I am still working and if I am given a chance, I’ll still continue. If things get hard, then it is what it is. I have not and I have never thought about resigning, people are just putting words in my mouth. When the time comes, I’ll just let things work themselves out. I remember running in the heat for over 10 kilometres when we were joining, and that is not something to take lightly," he said.

Despite the controversy surrounding him, the Toxic Love hitmaker made it clear that he remains unshaken.

“I am not intimidated. Hawawezi kutuuzia uoga. We cannot run away from our country, who will we leave it to? I am not shaken," he said.

Earlier, Samidoh spoke out as public anger grew over the shooting of Boniface Kariuki during protests in Nairobi.

In a short but impactful message shared on his social media, the singer seemed to allude to the events unfolding in Kenya, touching on themes of justice and freedom.

Though he did not mention the incident directly, his words resonated widely, with many Kenyans viewing it as a quiet stand against police brutality and a nod to those affected by systemic injustice.
