Mugithi singer Samidoh, born Samuel Machoki Ndiragu, is proud to see his son, named after him, make another trip around the sun.

Aside from being a Mugithi star and a police officer, Samidoh is a responsible dad. He has five children: three with his wife, Edday Nderitu and two with his ex-lover, nominated Senator Karen Nyamu.

He is so present in his kids' lives and usually celebrates them on their special occasions.

On Thursday, May 29, the Mugithi star took to social media to celebrate his son, Samidoh Junior's birthday.

The singer shared a photo of himself featuring the birthday boy.

Captioning the post, he noted that the boy was like a mirror of his dad's past.

"I see it every day in you. Same fire in the eyes, same rhythm in the soul. Today, I don’t just celebrate your birth, I honour the mirror you’ve become, the legacy you carry, the future wrapped in my past. Happy birthday, my son. May your steps thunder like the ones before you," he wrote.

As expected, his fans took to the comment section to wish Samidoh Junior a happy birthday.

Edday also penned a lovely message celebrating her son's birthday.

She was perplexed by how fast the little boy had grown and expressed excitement about it.

"My sweet baby is all grown up. Where did the time go? It feels like just yesterday I was rocking you to sleep, and now here you are,so big, so smart, and becoming your little person. Watching you grow has been the greatest joy of my life. You’ve taught me so much about love, strength, and patience. Your smile still melts my heart the same way it did the very first time I saw you," Edday posted.

She wished him the best.

"I’m so proud of you for your kind heart, your beautiful spirit, and everything you’re becoming. I pray over your life today and always. May God cover you, guide you, and bless you in ways only He can. Happy birthday, my love. You’ll always be my baby, no matter how tall you grow 💙. @samidoh_junior," she wrote.

On Wednesday, May 22, Samidoh showered his beautiful wife with love as the mother of three was marking her birthday.

Edday took to social media to share a heartfelt message of self-love and celebrate her strength.

Her musician husband shared memories on his Instagram stories and honoured Edday’s radiant spirit.

Samidoh praised his woman as a cherished mother to their five children.
