Referral Hospital held onto his body until the full amount was paid.

The family has been going up and down to raise the money, but they hit a brick wall, meaning that the body has been in the mortuary for a month. They turned to social media one more time, and this time, former Murang'a woman rep Sabina Chege heard their cry.

"Thank you Lord 😭, my blessed sister Hon Sabina Wanjiru wa Chege has called me and promised to clear the remaining bill of KSh 270,000 in the morning," said philanthropist Karangu Muraya.
"Thank you Lord, for making a way for my late friend Sam," he added.

In a Facebook post, Karangu shared that he was on his way to pay the bill with Sabina Chege. That is not the only good news, as more people have come out to help with the funeral arrangements to give Sam a befitting sendoff.

Among them are Carol, who will offer ushering services for free, and Brandon Wa Karanja has offered the late Sam's send-off with free tents and chairs.

"Thank you Lord for making it possible for Sam. My brother, DJ Macdee Top Mc, has offered Sam free DJ services and free sound," said Karangu.
"No one has ever become poor by giving,Karangu Muraya God bless you for supporting this family. RIP Sam," said Mc Dee.

Emmaus Funeral Directors will provide a nice coffin while Karangu will personally pay for the hearse.

Previously, Anthony Maina sought help to pay hospital bills so that he could get his wife's body for burial.

Maina's wife, Jane Wacera, died over a month ago, but her body was retained at the Kenyatta University (KU) morgue following her demise, attributed to septic shock.

Speaking to , Maina said he had exhausted all his financial resources.
