Aside from rebalancing the business on the store front, River Island is focusing heavily on fashion, relaunching its RI Studio line, with a “premium and elevated new collection”. 

We're told the new line’s designed to “meet the lifestyle of the modern city woman - polished, versatile, and effortlessly elevated” and opens with a focus on city dressing “where clean lines and elevated tailoring take centre stage”.

Design director Emma Rossi noted that “as the River Island Studio collection shifts into holiday and event dressing, the silhouettes evolve.” 

Key pieces include a fringed mesh maxi that “injects dramatic movement, while zesty lime tones brighten sun-soaked destinations”.

“Sequinned co-ords and playful print dresses” are designed with destination weddings and garden parties in mind, while those “wanting true fashion impact", mini dresses comes with sweeping trains that “provide high-style flair with modern ease”.

Available in sizes XS-L, the wider line includes structured blazers with strong shoulders and sculpted hourglass silhouettes, belted waistcoats, and soft, barrel-leg trousers “that strike the perfect balance between power and ease”. Linen and suede introduce texture, while utility details “bring a sense of elevated functionality”.

Rossi added: “We wanted to create a refined yet versatile wardrobe that truly reflects the rhythm of the modern woman’s life. We wanted every item to reflect a sense of ease and elegance, clothes that feel premium without ever compromising on wearability.”
