Record number of tickets sold for major beach party

The organisers of the Boogie on the Beach event have reported record-breaking ticket sales.
The Friday night party, which takes place after the British Beach Polo Championships, will be held on the sands of Sandbanks Beach on Friday, July 11.
It will welcome 3,000 guests who will enjoy live performances of soul, Motown, and disco music.
The headline acts for the night include Heatwave, Damage, DJ Jazzie B of Soul II Soul, Wonderband and DJ Brandon Block.
"We’ve brought together an incredible music line-up, the polo action will be as fierce as ever, and demand for tickets has exceeded all previous years.
"We’re urging anyone thinking of coming to book now before it’s too late."
The party follows a day of beach polo action with matches featuring Team Pommery and Team Mirabeau.
All Friday Sandpolo tickets include entry to Boogie on the Beach, which gives access to a food and drink village, beach bars and the main performance stage.
The event runs from 6pm to midnight.
Final release tickets are now on sale and are expected to sell out soon.
