Maledon played 33 EuroLeague games for Asvel last season, averaging 17 points, 4.6 assists, and 3.5 rebounds per game. In the LNB Pro A, he was not as heavily relied upon, posting slightly more modest stats with 13 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists per game.

Maledon began his professional career back in 2017 with Asvel, where he stayed until 2020. After that, he moved to the NBA, playing for the Oklahoma City Thunder, Charlotte Hornets, and Phoenix Suns.

Last season, he was selected to the All-EuroLeague Second Team. During his career, he won the LNB Pro A and the French Cup in 2019. He has also represented the French national team, winning a silver medal at the 2022 EuroBasket held in Germany.
