PRS For Music is once again sponsoring two categories at the Music Week Awards – Publisher Of The Year and Independent Publisher Of The Year.
The hugely popular ceremony will return on May 8, 2025 at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House London. Table bookings are open here – but they’re selling fast so don’t delay.
The Music Week Awards are the UK's only music awards that recognise labels, publishing, live, A&R, radio, marketing and PR. From groundbreaking campaigns to extraordinary talent, the Music Week Awards celebrate the very best in the business. The list of finalists was unveiled last month.
The 2024 edition sold out well in advance of the ceremony, which concluded with an appearance by guest presenters Girls Aloud, who received a rousing reception from the industry audience as they honoured Strat trophy winner Peter Loraine.

PRS for Music represents the rights of more than 175,000 songwriters, composers and music publishers. The organisation ensures that songwriters and composers are paid whenever their musical compositions and songs are streamed, downloaded, broadcast, performed and played in public. In 2023, PRS For Music paid out £943.6m in royalties and collected a record £1.08 billion in revenues.
