Pretty in polka dots! Racegoers up the style stake for Ladies Day at Royal Ascot
If you were having fashion envy over the elegant looks spotted at the Royal Ascot over the last two days, prepare to have even more!
Thursday was Ladies' Day at the racecourse and saw plenty of gorgeous gals elevate their looks even further.
Thousands of racegoers stepped out in style in Berkshire for the third day of the prestigious event, with polka dot prints and ruffles dominating on the fashion front.

Plenty of trendy women channelled Princess Diana's iconic Ascot 1988 look, which Kate Middleton emulated in 2022, by wearing black and white spotted outfits.
It comes as no surprise that polka dots are so prevalent at the festival, as we have seen the pattern make a major comeback this season.

Georgia Toffolo got the memo, as she wore a strap-sleeved flowy black gown, with large white dots printed throughout.
The former Made in Chelsea star's pièce de résistance was her extremely oversized feathered hat, which also stayed on trend with black dots.
Another racegoer had the same idea, wearing a show-stopping tiered dress. Cara Bagguley embodied the Ladies Day look in a puffy white ruffled dress, which was spotted with black oval-shaped dots.
She paired the one-shoulder dress with a black fascinator and closed-toe patent heels.

Meanwhile, Ireland's own Ger Treacy represented the country well on the third day of Ascot. The Virgin Media star wore a red ruffled look, made up of a fishtail dress and beret-style fascinator.
The sports presenter paired the look with some strappy gold heeled sandals, which complemented the feathered design attached to her hat.
