The Ghana Police Service has arrested Grace Siaw, the girlfriend of Daniel Febiri, also known as Brimah, the prime suspect in the murder of Nana Pooley (Francis Yaw Frimpong).

Authorities have been on the hunt for Brimah, who reportedly fled after the incident. In an update on their official X page, Asante Kotoko stated:

“The police have in their custody one GRACE SIAW, a girlfriend of DANIEL FEBIRI a.k.a BRAIMA a.k.a ASHI a.k.a Rasta, who concealed the suspect between 4th & 17th February and assisted him in escaping to Senegal through Côte d’Ivoire. She was brought to court on 25th February and remanded. She is set to appear in court today, and we await further developments.”

The late Francis Yaw Frimpong, widely known as Nana Pooley, is set to be laid to rest on March 6, according to Alex Manu, Chairman of Asante Kotoko Circles.

Pooley’s tragic passing, which occurred two weeks ago, sent shockwaves through the Ghanaian football community. He was fatally stabbed during Kotoko’s Matchday 19 fixture against Nsoatreman FC.
