American Alijah Comithier (201-G-2001) had a very impressive game in the last round for Dziki Warszawa and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 25.
The 23-year old guard had the game-high 24 points adding six rebounds for Dziki in his team's victory, helping them to beat MKS DG (#16, 7-18) 86-73. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. Dziki maintains the 10th position in Polish OBL. Dziki is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 12-13 record. In the team's last game Comithier had a remarkable 88.9% from 2-point range. He turned to be Dziki's top player in his first season with the team. Alijah Comithier averages this season 13.4ppg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young Serbian swingman Aleksa Radanov (201-G/F-1998) of

Legia Warszawa. Radanov impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 15 points and 11 rebounds. Bad luck as Legia lost that game 70-99 to the higher-ranked Trefl (#2, 17-8). This loss caused Legia to drop to 5th position in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 15-10 record is not bad and everything may still change. Radanov is one of the most experienced players at Legia and has a reputation of one of team's most reliable players.

The third best performed player last round was American Michael Oguine (188-G-1996, agency: Octagon Europe) of

Tauron GTK Gliwice (#14). Oguine scored 23 points and grabbed 5 rebounds. Despite Oguine's great performance the GTK lost 74-90 to the higher-ranked Anwil (#1, 20-5). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of GTK not to end season at such low position in the league, however are less than slim as they have already lost 16 games, recording just nine victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Oguine could try to bring GTK's a little bit higher in the standings. Oguine has a very solid season. In 3 games in Poland he scored 22.3ppg.

The Player of the week is selected based on efficiency calculation, but also including game result, importance of the game, if played recorded double-double/triple-double, etc.
The efficiency formula is a combination of various formulas used by different basketball organizations/leagues. We got involved many basketball scouts and journalists to assure it's accuracy.
The formula: 1.5*PTS + 3*(REB+AST+ST+BL-TO) - 2*BSAG - 4*PF + 3*PFRV + 4*(2FGPM+3FGPM) + 1.5*FTM - 3*(2FGPA-2FGPM) - 3*(3FGPA-3FGPM) - (FTA-FTM)
