President William Ruto on Thursday officially opened the 3rd Cabinet retreat and midterm review at the KCB Leadership Institute in Nairobi.

The national executive retreat provided a moment to take stock of progress, evaluate impact and make informed decisions about the path ahead.

It focused on the progress made in the Kenya Kwanza's Bottom-up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).

The agenda focused on six strategic areas of lowering the cost of living, eliminating hunger, creating jobs, widening the tax base, improving foreign exchange balance and promoting inclusive growth.

These objectives are being implemented through targeted investments in five key sectors of agriculture, health, MSMEs, digital superhighway and creative economy and housing.

The two-day meeting brings together Cabinet Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and other senior government officials.
