The Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Dr. Dennis Otuaro, has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on the second anniversary of his administration, describing his leadership over the past two years as committed and impactful.

Otuaro, in a statement issued on Thursday by his media aide Igoniko Oduma, said Tinubu had demonstrated strong leadership in promoting unity, peaceful coexistence, good governance, and democratic practices across the country.

“The Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Dr Dennis Otuaro, has congratulated President Bola Tinubu on the occasion of the second anniversary of his administration.

“Otuaro noted that the president has shown striking leadership in the past two years and worked assiduously to strengthen unity and peaceful co-existence, deepen good governance culture, and enrich democratic practice in Nigeria,” the statement read.

He noted that the administration’s policies, driven by the Renewed Hope Agenda, had provided a clear direction for Nigeria’s progress and the well-being of its citizens.

He also commended the president for what he described as decisive action in tackling economic challenges that had slowed national development.

The statement, the administration’s reforms are already yielding results in various sectors, contributing to what he called a period of national renewal.

On the issue of security, the Administrator said the president’s approach had been effective in addressing insecurity in parts of the country.

He added that the Niger Delta region had recorded notable improvements due to the administration’s focus on regional development.

He cited the creation of the South-South Development Commission as evidence of the government’s commitment to equitable development and local involvement in the national development agenda.

Otuaro further noted that the Presidential Amnesty Programme had received substantial support from the Tinubu administration, which he said had contributed to the effective execution of its mandate and the achievements recorded so far.

He called on residents of the Niger Delta and Nigerians in general to support the administration’s initiatives aimed at steering the country toward economic recovery and socio-political advancement.

The statement concluded, “Otuaro said the PAP was enjoying huge support from Tinubu and this had been responsible for the effective implementation of the programme’s mandate, and the outstanding achievements the agency had recorded.

“He appealed to the people of the Niger Delta and indeed Nigerians to continually support Tinubu and key into his administration’s policies and programmes designed to redirect the country on the path of economic recovery and socio-political advancement.”
