Oracle Cloud to Integrate xAI's Grok 3 Model for Enterprise Users

Oracle's cloud computing division is set to expand its artificial intelligence (AI) model offerings by partnering with Elon Musk's AI startup, xAI. This collaboration will bring xAI's latest model, Grok 3, to Oracle's corporate customers, allowing businesses to securely integrate the advanced AI capabilities into their existing infrastructure and software systems.

Grok 3, which was initially released in February and designed to compete with leading models from DeepSeek and OpenAI, was previously available to paying subscribers of Musk's X social media platform and directly through xAI. Now, through Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, corporate users will be able to access Grok 3 directly from Oracle's data centers, ensuring their data remains under their current security protections within Oracle's ecosystem.

This move aligns with Oracle's overarching strategy to provide a diverse portfolio of popular AI models that businesses can easily integrate into their corporate software. According to Karan Batta, senior vice president at Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, the company's goal is to be the provider of a wide range of AI models, rather than developing its own. In addition to Grok 3, Oracle already offers models from other prominent AI entities such as Meta, French startup Mistral, and Cohere, reinforcing its position as a comprehensive AI solutions provider for enterprises.
