Omosh, who has been a vocal defender of ODM and its leaders, now feels betrayed, stating that the very politicians he risked his life for have turned their backs on him in his time of need.

In a heartfelt TikTok video, Omosh narrated the pain and struggles he has endured while supporting ODM, recalling incidents where he was arrested, assaulted, and nearly lost his life because of his political activism.

"What have I not seen in ODM? I have been assaulted and arrested. I was beaten close to death. My mother warned me that I would die, but I ignored her because I was supporting Raila Amollo Odinga. I followed him. Who doesn’t know me in this country? But how has it helped me? Nothing. It doesn’t help me. I was warned, but I didn’t listen. Now it’s haunting me," he lamented.

Speaking to , Omosho’s manager, Fredrick Odongo, shed more light on the source of his frustration. According to Odongo, Omosho is currently struggling to raise funds for his sick child, who urgently needs surgery.

"His child has been sick, and he doesn’t have the money to pay for the medical procedure. This is what is paining him the most," Odongo explained.

Despite having dedicated years of his life to campaigning for ODM, Omosho claims that none of the party leaders he once trusted are willing to help him during his time of distress.

Omosh revealed that he needs KSh 47,000 to pay the hospital bill, yet his calls to ODM leaders have gone unanswered.

"ODM leaders are not picking up my calls. They have abandoned me, yet I risked my life for the party. This is the worst form of betrayal. I have been arrested and assaulted many times just because of my love for the party and Raila Odinga," he said.

Feeling betrayed and disillusioned, Omosh is now appealing to Kenyans of goodwill to step in and help him raise the KSh 47,000 needed for his child’s surgery.

His story has sparked mixed reactions, with some sympathising with him while others argue that politicians rarely repay loyalty with personal favors.

Previously, Omosh revealed his intention to contest for the Karen Ward MCA seat in the 2027 elections, with a focus on local development and addressing the community's needs.

He has pledged to campaign on foot, emphasising the improvement of infrastructure, and vows to serve the people of Karen, regardless of his financial situation.

In the past, Omosh has dealt with financial hardships, including two months of unpaid rent and unemployment.
