The two shared an emotional moment as they reminisced about their youthful days, bringing back fond memories of their strong bond.

In a video that Ghost Mulee shared online, he revealed that he had bumped into Gabby while out on a morning cycling session, likely as part of his exercise routine. The encounter, though unplanned, was a delightful surprise for both of them.

Ghost vividly recalled how Gabby was not only his neighbour but also someone who played a key role in his early football career.

Back in the day, Gabby was the one who would carry Ghost’s football boots whenever he headed to the pitch to play.

With a cheerful tone, Ghost also humorously pointed out that Gabby was so close to him that he even knew his then-girlfriend during their youthful years.

"Guys, they say the early bird catches the worm, but you can never catch the worm that wakes up late. This is Gabby! This guy you see here, we grew up together. He used to carry my boots. We stayed upstairs, and he stayed on the ground floor. He even knew my girlfriend. I still remember those stories. I'm happy to see you, my brother Gabby. I was cycling, and then I saw a familiar face," Ghost narrated with excitement.

Gabby, equally thrilled by the encounter, acknowledged Ghost as his big brother, confirming that they indeed shared a deep connection growing up.

He was grateful to have been spotted by Ghost while he was cycling, as it gave them a chance to reconnect after a long time.

"Ghost is my big brother. We grew up together, as he has told you. I used to carry his boots when he played football. He spotted me while cycling and recognised me. I’m so glad my brother."

Captioning the video, Ghost expressed his joy in meeting Gabby after so many years, especially since Gabby is now based in Johannesburg, South Africa.

"My younger bro Gabby was a neighbour in Jericho. Met him on my morning workout. Am so happy he is now based in Jozzi!"

The touching reunion between the two old friends sparked nostalgic feelings among fans, with many appreciating the beauty of reconnecting with childhood friends.
