Published 4 hours ago2 minute read

Did and just become the most unexpected pop culture crossover of the year? That’s what fans are wondering after Offset made a surprising confession that linked him to the rising pop sensation. This revelation came while his rocky split from Cardi B remains under the spotlight. Now, the internet can’t stop talking about the unlikely connection.

Offset has finally revealed his celebrity crush, and fans weren’t expecting the name that came out of it. Offset appeared in a new Complex video with magician Anna DeGuzman, who challenged him to a mind-reading game without ever asking him to say his crush’s name out loud. “Well, think about your love life. Do you have a celebrity crush right now? Someone we would all know,” DeGuzman asked, urging him to stay silent.

DeGuzman then tried to narrow it down. She asked if the woman was an artist and quizzed him about his favorite song of hers, but teased him when he couldn’t come up with a title. He shared, “I feel like artistically, she’s got it all together.”

After a few tidbits, DeGuzman handed him a slip of paper she had written earlier. The name read Sabrina Carpenter, and Offset’s reaction was immediate. “How you get this right? That’s crazy. That’s crazy,” he said, clearly stunned. “This is cap! No way. I ain’t never said this before.” Even DeGuzman seemed surprised, admitting she didn’t expect Carpenter to be his “type.”

Offset’s celebrity crush revelation comes after Cardi B filed for divorce from him for a second time in July 2024. The two have been on and off since 2017, with infidelity rumors and public reconciliations. Though Cardi announced their breakup in December 2023, the pair held hands months later at a Met Gala afterparty. They now share three children, including a baby born in September 2024.

While Offset and Carpenter haven’t collaborated or publicly interacted before, the attention on her couldn’t be more intense. Carpenter’s 2025 single “Manchild,” the lead track from her upcoming album Man’s Best Friend, recently shot to the top of several Billboard charts.
