Oben Electric Launches 24/7 Helpline to Enhance Electric Vehicle Support in India, ET Auto
About 90% of service cases were resolved within 72 hours in the past three months, the company said.

Oben Electric, a research and development-focused electric motorcycle manufacturer, has launched a 24/7 customer support helpline as part of its efforts to enhance the EV ownership experience. The helpline aims to provide continuous, real-time assistance to riders and address concerns regarding service accessibility in the electric vehicle segment.
Over the last three months, the company has resolved 90 per cent of all service cases within 72 hours. This performance is supported by Oben Electric’s vertically integrated manufacturing approach, which includes in-house design and production of the battery, motor, vehicle control unit (VCU), and charger. This allows tighter control over diagnostics, repair timelines, and warranty support.
Each Oben Electric customer is assigned a Relationship Manager to assist with onboarding, regular maintenance, and issue resolution. The service team comprises technicians certified to industry standards, and every showroom is equipped with an associated Oben Care service centre.
To support customers on the road, the company has set up a three-tier roadside assistance (RSA) network. This includes its own RSA fleet, national RSA providers, and hyperlocal partners, enabling response in remote areas. Warranty coverage includes up to 8 years or 80,000 km for the LFP battery, and five years or 60,000 km for key components such as the battery management system, motor, motor controller, and chassis.
Oben Electric currently operates over 37 showrooms across India, each with an attached service centre. Some locations offer pick-up and drop services. The company plans to expand to more than 150 showrooms across over 50 cities by the end of the financial year.
