will be grilled about her dog’s death after her former groomer denied all wrongdoing in her lawsuit amid the actress’ drama with her husband s parents, and , In Touch can exclusively report.

According to court documents obtained by In Touch, a New York judge ordered Nicola, 30, to appear for a deposition before October 30.

In addition, Nicola will have to authorize the release of medical records, specifically the necropsy report, related to the death of her chihuahua, Nala.

As In Touch previously reported, last year, Nicola sued dog grooming company HoundSpa, the owner and groomer .

The actress and model accused the defendants of being responsible for the death of her Nala.

Nicole rescued Nala, who became a part of her family for the past nine years. She said the dog breed usually lives to be 14 to 16 but Nala died at 9, due to a “groomer’s abuse.”

The actress said she used HoundSpa in 2022.

She said her family had issues with Jony and asked that he not be used on her animals. She said on June 15, 2024, “unbeknownst” to her, Jony was sent to her home to groom five of her dogs.

The suit alleged, “Nala went into the grooming van, a happy, healthy dog, but returned injured and in severe physical distress— breathing heavily and wheezing, with her chest pulsating. As poor Nala suffered, Nicola rushed her to the vet, a fifteen-minute drive away.”

“The vet observed that Nala’s tongue was blue, she had fluid in her lungs, and she suffered neurological damage. Nala was put on oxygen and cared for as Nicola distressingly and emotionally witnessed her dog suffer,” the complaint added.

Nicola’s lawyer alleged, “Due to her injuries and severe condition, Nala tragically passed away a mere two hours after being in the van with the groomer.”

The suit said, “[Jony] not only failed to properly care for her, but also [Jony] violently mistreated and/or intentionally abused the dog, with utter callous disregard for her safety, health and well-being. [Jony’s] actions severely, and ultimately fatally, injured Nala.”

Nicola demanded unspecified damages.

She said all monies would be donated to a dog rescue organization. Houndspa and the owner denied all allegations of wrongdoing.

On top of that, the groomer Jony also denied he played a role in the dog’s death. His lawyer argued Nicola was “liable for her comparative negligence.”

The case has heated up amid reported drama between Nicola and the Beckham family.

Back in April, sources told TMZ that Brooklyn, 26, and his younger brother. , were no longer speaking.

The outlet reported the drama started around last year after Romeo, 22, started dating Brooklyn’s ex, Kim Turnbull. Brooklyn and Kim, 24, dated years before she started dating Romeo, per TMZ.

Brooklyn and Nicola were not present at David’s recent 50th birthday but Romeo and Kim were present.

Sources told TMZ that Brooklyn and Nicola refused to attend any events that Kim would be at.

A couple of weeks later, TMZ reported Nicola and Brooklyn were also having issues with David, 50, and Victoria, 51. Sources alleged Brooklyn and Nicola are “fed up” with the way David and Victoria treat them.

The duo feel they have made a substantial effort to fix past issues but have made no progress. The outlet said Nicola doesn’t like the way “narcissistic” David and her mother-in-law treat Brooklyn.

Sources close to Nicola claim David “verbally berates” Brooklyn on the phone.

The insiders close to Brooklyn and Nicola also believe Nicola is being used as a “scapegoat” by David and Victoria. Sources told the outlet that the actress feels Victoria and David do not want to speak to her because “she always talks back to them and stands up for Brooklyn.”

TMZ reported Brooklyn and Nicola want to fix the bad blood with his parents. The duo reportedly flew to London to see David before his birthday party but were told to come to the party to see David.

The duo did not attend the party but sources said they wished David a happy birthday privately.

Victoria and David have yet to speak out about the alleged family drama.
