Executive Director of the National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB), Dr Shaibu Husseini, has marked his 18th wedding anniversary with his wife Ruth Husseini.

The 54-year-old shared a video montage on on Monday, capturing cherished moments with his wife over the years.

Expressing gratitude he wrote, “My Treasure @ruth.husseini and I are 18 today as man and wife… We thank God Almighty for His faithfulness and return all the glory to Him for the journey we started on February 10, 2007.

“I decree that it will be sweeter together as man and wife till death do us part in the mighty name of Jesus. I love you, Treasure.”

Dr Husseini was appointed NFVCB Executive Director on January 31, 2024 and officially assumed office on March 11.

Before his appointment, he had a distinguished career as a journalist, performing artiste, cultural administrator and film curator.

He holds a First Class BSc in Mass Communication from Lagos State University, an MSc (Distinction) in Mass Communication from the University of Lagos and a PhD in Mass Communication from the same institution, with a focus on Nollywood’s film production structure.
