’ ex , who is fighting him over their newborn daughter, fought rapper Lil Baby in court years before her battle with the NBA star.

According to court documents obtained by In Touch, (real name: Dominique Jones) filed a petition for legitimation, custody and visitation in 2018 against Ayesha, 37.

Lil Baby, 30, explained that he believed he was the “natural and biological father of the minor child, Jason Jones, born in 2015.” In court documents, Lil Baby said Jason lived with Ayesha in Georgia. The entertainer asked that a genetic test be done to establish paternity.

Lil Baby said he wanted to be named the legal father to Jason if the DNA test came back as a match. He also asked the court to award him joint legal custody with liberal parenting time.

The petition read, “That the minor child is substantially dependent upon the parties for his support and maintenance, and temporary and permanent child support should be established commensurate with his needs and the parties’ ability to provide such support and maintenance.”

Lil Baby demanded Ayesha turn over a series of documents in the case. He asked her to produce all texts and messages exchanged between them from 2015 to 2018.

In addition, he wanted her to turn over any records or audio tapes of conversations she recorded of him. The rapper asked that Ayesha also produce any documents related to any surveillance by her or an agent of Lil Baby.

His lawyer also asked that Ayesha turn over “any and all diaries, journals, or personal notes kept by you for the period of time from 2015 through the present, inclusive, including but not limited to any and all personal inventories compiled and/or written by you.”

Ayesha never responded to the case, and Lil Baby failed to move it forward. As a result, the court dismissed the case without any judgment in January 2019.

According to court records, obtained by In Touch, Ayesha filed a paternity and child support lawsuit against Lil Baby on August 25, 2020. Lil Baby filed a response to the case in September 2020.

The exes went back and forth for months. At one point, one party accused the other of contempt.

The motion was eventually dismissed. Ayesha and Lil Baby reached a deal to seal the court records in June 2022, and the case was closed. Lil Baby and Jason are often seen together at public events and on social media.

As In Touch first reported, Ayesha and Anthony, 23, are in the middle of an ugly court war over their, daughter Aubri Summers Howard. Anthony told the court he was not seeking custody or visitation and the only thing that needed to be decided was support.
