Read Anthony Edwards' Alleged Text to Ex Ayesha About Condoms | In Touch Weekly
’ ex Ayesha Howard submitted alleged texts from the NBA star, which showed the two going back and forth about condoms, In Touch can exclusively report.
On May 9, Ayesha, 37, filed new court documents, obtained by In Touch, as she pleaded for a Los Angeles Superior Court judge to reconsider the ruling that California was not the proper state to determine child support.
Anthony, 23, and Ayesha had a daughter named Aubri Summer Howard, born in October 2024.
A DNA test was done by the parties in December 2024, which confirmed Aubri was Anthony’s child.
The NBA star filed a paternity suit in Georgia. Ayesha filed a separate one in California. Anthony scoffed at Ayesha’s claim she lived in California.
He believed she lives in Georgia and only filed in California in hopes of scoring a higher child support award. Ayesha denied his accusations.
She said she moved to California before Aubri was born and has no intention of moving back to Georgia.
As In Touch first reported, earlier this year, the court ruled in Anthony’s favor and said California was not the proper state to determine support.
The court did set a hearing to make a decision on whether the L.A. court could establish child custody.
Anthony Edwards.
Anthony filed a declaration stating he has no desire for custody or visitation with Aubri. He said the only thing left to be determined is support.
Recently, Ayesha asked the court to review evidence that she said proves she does not live in Georgia, nor has she worked there.
In her filing, Ayesha said, “Throughout these proceedings, Mr. Edwards and his legal team have not only misrepresented his own connections but have also made false and damaging statements about me, in what appears to be an effort to discredit my character.”
She said, “One such claim was that I worked at Magic City in Atlanta until 2024. This is false. I have obtained documentation from the Atlanta Police Department showing that my last business license with that establishment expired in 2018 — seven years ago. I have been forthcoming in stating that I have not worked in Georgia for over a decade, and the evidence supports this statement.”
Ayesha also submitted a screenshot of her ovulation tracker into evidence. Anthony and his legal team slammed her motion.
Domantas Sabonis, Jimmy Butler, LeBron James, Jayson Tatum and Anthony Edwards.
Anthony’s attorney continued, “Her only contacts with the state are in connection with her bad faith attempt to game the system and mislead the Court to obtain a California child support order.”
“It is clear that the conception of the minor child was a planned-out scheme for Ayesha, who recently attached documentation demonstrating that she was tracking her ovulation around the time that she became pregnant,” Anthony’s lawyer said.
He added, “This was a clearly planned financial decision for Ayesha. The parties’ presented their arguments regarding jurisdiction as it relates to child support and the Court made findings in support of its ruling. Ayesha, unhappy with the outcome, now attempts to get a second bite at the apple. Her manipulative and unjustifiable conduct should not be condoned.”
Now in her new motion, Ayesha fired back at the NBA star.
She said, “As anticipated, Anthony Edwards has failed to provide any meaningful explanation for his prior misrepresentations to this Court. In both his initial pleadings and subsequent filings, Mr. Edwards alongside his legal counsel deliberately omitted material facts concerning his substantial and ongoing contacts with the State of California.”
Ayesha continued, “These omissions were not accidental; they were part of a calculated attempt to evade jurisdiction in the very state where our child was conceived, born, and continues to reside.”
Ayesha argued Anthony’s sports agent is located in Los Angeles, along with his assistant.
She said, “Rather than address these jurisdictional facts, Mr. Edwards has instead resorted to personal attacks once again attempting to malign my character while disregarding the legal implications of his own conduct. Such deflection does nothing to rebut the clear legal basis for jurisdiction and only underscores his continued refusal to accept responsibility.”
Ayesha then dropped a bombshell.
She said, “Among the most disturbing claims in his recent filing is the assertion that I sought to become pregnant using a menstrual tracking app an everyday health tool used by millions of women. This baseless accusation is an attempt to distract from the central issue: Mr. Edwards initiated unprotected sex and unilaterally removed a condom during intercourse without my consent.”
She attached a screenshot of an alleged text as part of her motion. She said her evidence includes, “a screenshot of a message I sent to him directly asking why he removed the condom. The encounter was consensual; neither party was impaired. Mr. Edwards was fully aware of the risks and consequences of his actions.”
Ayesha noted, “His consistent pattern of seeking unprotected sex while evading accountability now the subject of two additional child support cases is relevant to his credibility and intent.”
As In Touch first reported, Anthony was recently sued by another ex, Ally D., for child support and paternity.
In the undated alleged text submitted by Ayesha, she wrote to Anthony, “Are you feeling better?”
Anthony allegedly replied, “Yes I am. WBU.”
In the alleged message, Ayesha wrote, “I’m ok but I do have a question.”
Anthony said, “Ok wassup.” Ayesha asked, “You don’t like condoms? Anthony allegedly replied, “I do but not those ones.”
Ayesha wrote back, “Ok well just don’t be wilding slanging it everywhere. I’d be lying if I said the condom didn’t throw me off or that I didn’t want you too but I’m hoping you have some discipline with your lifestyle and all. I [redacted] with you so I let it happen but I was being serious when I said I don’t deal with anyone.”
Anthony Edwards’ Alleged Text.
The NBA star allegedly wrote back, “Ian [redacted] nobody raw. I gotcha.”
Ayesha said Anthony initially claimed intercourse only occurred in Georgia.
“He has now shifted his narrative to claim that no intercourse occurred in California at all. This contradiction is disproven by flight and lodging records, corroborated communications, and the evidence already submitted. His credibility has eroded, and his evolving narrative appears to be a deliberate effort to manipulate jurisdictional findings.”
Ayesha also asked for her legal fees to be covered.
She argued, “This motion is not a second attempt it is a necessary correction to a record built on omission and misrepresentation. To suggest that I should bear any portion of court costs in a matter necessitated by a multi-millionaire’s failure to disclose material facts is unconscionable. Given the financial burden I’ve carried expenses that would have otherwise been used to support our daughter Mr. Edwards should be ordered to reimburse my attorney fees and litigation expenses.”
Anthony has yet to respond to Ayesha’s alleged evidence. As In Touch first reported, Ayesha previously submitted alleged texts from Anthony into the case.
In one alleged text, sent after Ayesha told him she was pregnant, Anthony told her, “Ok lol. Get da abortion lol.”
The case is ongoing.
