Jake LaRavia agreed terms with LA Lakers - July 1, 2025

The Los Angeles Lakers (NBA) strengthened their roster with the addition of 23-year-old 6-9 swingman Jake LaRavia (college: Wake Forest) for the upcoming season. He is not a newcomer in the USA League as he played most recently with the Sacramento Kings. In 19 NBA games last season, he recorded 6.1ppg, 2.8rpg, and 1.3apg. He also played for another NBA team, the Grizzlies, earlier that season.
Three years ago, he was drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves in the first round (19th overall). LaRavia graduated from Wake Forest University in 2022, and it will be his fourth season in pro basketball.
He has played ppg for Memphis Hustle.
LaRavia won the NBA Southwest Division championship title in 2023. He was voted to the MVC All-Freshman Team in 2020. He played for Indiana State University for 2 years.
