Ranchi: Officer-in-charge of Namkum police station Manoj Kumar and his bodyguard on Saturday evening sustained head injuries when a sand-laden Turbo vehicle hit their Bolero near Palandu village, police informed.Rural SP Praveen Pushkar stated that the injured have been admitted in a local hospital adding that both of them were in conscious state. He said that medical treatment of both persons was underway. He stated that OC and the bodyguard were on a regular patrol when the Turbo hit their vehicle from backside causing the latter to overturn. Police have seized the vehicle involved in the incident.
