Honley crash LIVE as road shut and air ambulance lands at scene
Police have taped off a road after a serious crash in Honley (June 28).
Emergency services raced to the scene in Woodhead Road, Honley, at around 5pm. The road remains shut and according to witnesses, Yorkshire Air Ambulance has landed at the scene.
Photographs from the scene show a single car has had its roof removed, along with its back doors. Currently the wreck is blocking the road horizontally. The condition of the driver and if there were any passengers is unknown at this stage.
West Yorkshire Police have been contacted for any updates and YorkshireLive will provide them as soon as they respond. On-the-ground reporters have been informed by officers that the road could be shut for some time, although there is no current answer as to how long this will be for.
