Margaret was over the moon as she hosted the grand opening ceremony of her elderly mother’s home.

The house-warming event took place at Fika Villas, an upscale neighborhood with other impressive-looking houses.

It was undoubtedly a wonderful day for the family and friends who turned up for the celebration.

“We were invited to a beautiful house-warming event in Barnabas, Nakuru—and we couldn’t wait to share the experience with you. The new homeowner officially opened her three-bedroom, all-en-suite home with a self-contained DSQ to family and friends, turning it into a celebration full of love, laughter, and inspiration.
Set in the serene and secure Fika Villas gated community, this event showcased not just a house, but a dream turned reality. From the modern finishes to the spacious layout and outdoor vibe, this home truly stands out,” read the caption on the video.

Margaret cut the ribbon to signify the official opening of the stunning home she built for her mum.

Songs of praise and celebration filled the air as they joyfully entered the beautiful house.

Margaret took her mum and the guests on a room-by-room tour, leaving them in awe.

The rooms were vast and shared a similar color theme that blended well with the incredible lights.

The house was not yet fully furnished, which underscored the massive space in each room and its capacity to host several items.

“Where you are standing is the living room, and that is the TV area,” she said, gesturing with her hands.

She then led them to the kitchen, which looked sparkling clean, its walls lined with cupboards and tiles.

She noted that the appliances had not arrived yet but believed they would soon occupy the space.

“When mum brings potatoes, she will put them here. All the cabbages and carrots will go here,” Margaret added, pointing to the storeroom next to the kitchen.

Next was the laundry room, which was large enough to host several items of clothing and had both a sink and a tap.

“That is the first bedroom. We have a beautiful closet here. When you bring your clothes, you can hang them there. There is a bathroom here, which is big enough,” she said.

At the end of the tour, they cut a lovely cake as they celebrated the wonderful news together.

In another story, siblings from Baringo county, born to a polygamous father, showed unity by gifting their father and his wives new homes.

The 13 siblings from both mothers pooled the necessary resources to build their dad two nearly identical bungalows.

The gesture was led by Josephat Cheruiyot, who said it was meant to appreciate their parents for raising them well.
