, Mulobi did not shy away from admitting that her priorities at the time were misaligned.

She explained that while she was fully committed to her calling and service, she failed to strike a balance with her family life, a mistake she now looks back on with painful clarity.

“My husband left me because I didn’t have time for him or our family. My first marriage broke down, and everything went south,” Mulobi revealed, her voice tinged with regret.

One day, she returned home after a day of "singing and jumping up and down in excitement" to find him gone forever.

The gospel singer added that her husband ended up hooking up with her friend, who was always available.

Mulobi has since moved on and remains steadfast in her faith journey, using her story to minister to others facing similar struggles.

She emphasised that her experience taught her the importance of maintaining strong communication and boundaries, both in relationships and friendships.

“I share my story not for sympathy, but to help others avoid the mistakes I made,” she said.

The confession has touched many hearts, with some praising her honesty and bravery, while others have ignited debate on the challenges of balancing ministry and marriage.

Anderson Muriithi:

"That's the silly mistake most Christians make. Your first ministry should be your family. But she has painfully learnt her lesson."

Tecla Nekesa:

"These things need balance unless you decide you don't get married or you don't marry."

ALexander Aliero Kagali

"Singing for God is not a waste of time. May God link you with someone you'll sing together and serve God together for his glory. Let the past go and embrace the future that's ahead of you."

Mulobi's story serves as a sobering reminder of how neglect, even if unintentional, can open doors to betrayal and kill would-be lasting relationships.
