Award-winning Ghanaian artist Kuami Eugene has shared a pivotal moment in his career, attributing his later success to a transformative trip to the Volta Region.

In a candid reflection, the singer behind hits like "Angela" explained that his short time in the region sparked a wave of positive change, elevating his music career.

"My life took a new turn after returning from the Volta Region," he revealed in a recent interview. "Though it was a brief visit, the effect was profound. Right after, everything shifted—more shows, increased streams, greater recognition. It felt like a new beginning."

Though he didn’t go into specifics about what happened during the trip, Kuami Eugene stressed that it left a deep spiritual and emotional mark. He suggested that the region’s peaceful environment, vibrant culture, and welcoming people rejuvenated his creativity.

The Lynx Entertainment artist also urged fellow creatives to explore Ghana, especially the Volta Region, for inspiration and self-discovery.
