MSU football makes finalists list for 3-star LB Mason Marden of St. Louis
Michigan State football is one of five schools still in the running for a three-star linebacker from Missouri.
Mason Marden of St. Louis released his top five schools list on Monday, which included Michigan State. According to the post from Marden on social media network X, the Spartans were joined by Oklahoma, Arizona State, Kansas and Wisconsin.

Marden is listed as a three-star prospect with a rating of 86 on 247Sports. He ranks as the No. 84 linebacker and No. 10 player from Missouri in 247Sports' rankings for the 2026 class.
Michigan State is one of more than 20 schools to offer Marden, according to 247Sports. He also holds offers from Wisconsin, Kansas, Arizona State, Cincinnati, Oklahoma, Kansas State, Kentucky, Louisville, Minnesota, Northwestern, Oklahoma State, Purdue, Stanford and a host of mid-major programs too.
Marden is scheduled to take an official visit to Michigan State on May 30. He also has official visits lined up with Kansas, Arizona State and Wisconsin over the next two months.
