According to the rankings by Brand Finance, determined through an exhaustive assessment of brand strength, revenue, and market impact, the report indicates changing consumer preferences and corporate adaptability in a fast-paced global economy. The Brand Finance 2025 report reveals the world's ten most valuable brands, dominated by industry giants in technology, retail, and energy. Apple is at the top with an astonishing brand value of $574.5 billion (₹48 trillion), solidifying its dominance in innovation and customer loyalty. Microsoft and Google come in second and third places, valued at $461.1 billion (₹38.6 trillion) and $413 billion (₹34.5 trillion), respectively.
E-commerce leader Amazon ranked fourth at $356.4 billion (₹29.8 trillion), and Walmart rounded out the top five at $137.2 billion (₹11.5 trillion). Rounding out the top ten was Samsung Group from South Korea, at $110.6 billion (₹9.2 trillion). TikTok/Douyin, State Grid Corporation, Facebook, and NVIDIA all make the cut, demonstrating the worldwide scope of the leading companies fueling global economic development.
Indian brands continue to make a mark on the global stage. According to Brand Finance's Global 500 report for 2025, Tata's brand value grew by 10% to $31.6 billion, thus becoming the first Indian brand to exceed the $30 billion mark. This achievement firmly places Tata in the position as India's most valuable brand for the 15th consecutive year, up from its $28.6 billion valuation last year. Tata ranked 60th among the world's top 100 brands while keeping its coveted AAA- brand strength rating, according to a statement at Davos.
Meanwhile, LIC has emerged as the fastest-growing Indian brand, with its brand value increasing by 36% to $13.3 billion. LIC has a robust Brand Strength Index (BSI) score of 88, the highest among Indian brands in the global rankings. These milestones show India's growing influence in the global business landscape.
