The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Ceadir-Basket (20-1) on the court of third ranked Soroca on Saturday night. Visitors were defeated by
Soroca 92-82. It ended at the same time the 20-game winning streak of Ceadir-Basket. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in the league. Dmitri Chiurcciu came up with 15 points and 6 rebounds for Comrat H. in the defeat. Newly promoted CBA Baschet maintains fourth place with 15-6 record. Comrat H. at the other side keeps the seventh position with 12 games lost. They share it with Pervanciuc.
The game in Chisinau was also quite interesting. Fifth ranked UTM (13-8) played at the court of 7th ranked Pervanciuc (9-12). UTM managed to secure a 7-point victory 69-62 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was Denis Turcan who had a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was Vladimir Cebotari who recorded 26 points and 7 rebounds. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for UTM. They maintain fifth place with 13-8 record.
