The most exciting game of round 30 in the ProA took place in Giessen. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of second-best Gladiators (23-7) to fourth ranked 46ers (20-10)

The best for the losing side was Australian guard Koen Sapwell (193-1999, college: CS Monterey) with 28 points and 6 rebounds. Science City Jena have an impressive 17-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 28-2 record. Dresden at the other side keeps the eleventh place with 15 games lost. Jena will play against Bochum (#7) at home in the next round where they are favorite. Dresden will play against Hagen (#6) and hopes to get back on the winning track.

Loser SparkassenStars keeps the seventh position with 12 games lost. Crailsheim will meet Karlsruhe PS (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Bochum will play against the league's leader Jena (#1) and hope to secure a win.
There were no big surprises in other games of round 30: Bremerhaven beat Koblenz on the road 92-83. Bottom-ranked Vechta 2 was destroyed by Hagen on its own court 86-113. Bayreuth managed to outperform Nuernberg in a road game 95-87. Kirchheim managed to beat Muenster at home 96-91. Tuebingen was defeated by Duesseldorf on the opponent's court 84-83. Artland was beaten by Karlsruhe PS in a home game 100-111. Hagen won against Koblenz on the road 84-71.
