Metro In Dino Film & Box Office Performance

Metro In Dino has been eagerly anticipated and is now finally released in theatres, generating considerable buzz. The film boasts an impressive ensemble cast, with stories that intertwine and take diverse paths. Key actors featured in the lead roles include Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Konkona Sen Sharma, Pankaj Tripathi, Neena Gupta, Anupam Kher, and Saswata Chatterjee.

The movie started its box office journey on a decent note. According to the website Sacnilk, Metro In Dino collected Rs 3.35 crore on its opening day.

Actors who worked on the film have shared their experiences, particularly praising director Anurag Basu. Aditya Roy Kapur, in an interview with Filmfare, explained his decision to collaborate with Basu, stating, "With Dada, everything and every day is a discovery, every day is a fun challenge. It is unpredictable, you don’t know what new idea he is gonna throw your way and that’s the most fun part of the process." This highlights Basu's dynamic and unpredictable directing style, which appears to be a draw for actors.

Fatima Sana Shaikh, who has worked with Anurag Basu previously on Ludo and now Metro In Dino, also lauded his approach. She told Mid-Day, "As a director, he is considerate and takes care of you. People think if the film is taking long, a lot of shoot is being done. But that’s not the case. Since his films have an ensemble cast, he has to coordinate the dates of so many actors. If you trust him, he will get the best performance out of you. Also, his characters are so well-written." Her comments emphasize Basu's considerate nature, his skill in managing large ensemble casts, and his ability to elicit strong performances through well-developed characters.

The film Metro In Dino follows in the footsteps of Anurag Basu's acclaimed 2007 movie, Life In A Metro. Both films explore the intricate theme of complicated love within urban settings. Life In A Metro also featured a prominent cast, including Dharmendra, Nafisa Ali, Shilpa Shetty, Kay Kay Menon, Shiney Ahuja, Irrfan Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Kangana Ranaut, and Sharman Joshi, many of whom are known for their strong performances, much like the current film's cast.
