Metro in Dino box office collection day 3: Metro In Dino hit the screens on July 4 and opened to a decent response at the Indian box office. It collected Rs 3.5 crore (nett) on the first day. The romantic drama then witnessed growth on July 5. It continued its run on Sunday (July 6), its first Sunday.
Metro in Dino witnesses growth on Sunday
Anurag Basu is in the limelight because of his latest film Metro in Dino. The film has made a decent impact at the box office. According to Sacnilk, a trade website, Metro In Dino earned Rs 7.25 crore on the third day. This is slightly higher than the Rs 6 crore it earned on the second day.
Metro In Dino had an overall occupancy of around 40% on the third day. The occupancy was 15.98% in the morning shows. The film then recorded an occupancy of 46.2% for the afternoon shows. The evening shows, unsurprisingly, fared the best in this regard. They had an occupancy of 57.14%.
It did well in cities such as Chennai (78.50%) and Bengaluru (62.50%). The occupancy, however, stayed dull in cities such as Surat (18.25%) and Chandigarh (34%).

The film’s total collection stands at Rs 16.75 crore.

Metro In Dino has received positive reviews most most critics. The Times of India gave it a rating of 3.5/5 and described it as ‘chaotic yet charming’.
