ANCHORAGE, AK (Alaska’s News Source) - Sunshine is warming up mainland Alaska!
Clearing skies gave the sun a chance to warm up Southcentral and Interior locations to the 60s on Friday.
While mainland areas enjoy sun and warmth, the Aleutians are dealing with another storm, but Southeast is likely to see wet weather through the weekend, and into next week.
The hot spot for Alaska on Friday was Tanana at 69 degrees and the cold spot was 19 degrees at Point Lay.
