McLean County to have a warming bus due to low temperatures

MCLEAN COUNTY, Ill. (WMBD) — Connect Transit will have a warming bus in Bloomington due to cold temperatures this weekend.

The bus will be operating from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 19, and from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 20 at the McLean County Health Department parking lot located at 200 W. Front St., said Mark Huffman, the marketing manager for Connect Transit.

Sunday’s temperature is projected to be between -2 degrees and 12 degrees and Monday is supposed to be between -6 degrees and 12 degrees, not including the wind chill.
