Equities (^DJI, ^IXIC, ^GSPC) are trading in a tight range, according to the Bespoke Investment Group's findings, which compared the 100-day range for market highs and lows dating all the way back to 1993.

Yahoo Finance host Julie Hyman examines the trading range data from Bespoke's latest chart, referring back to Slatestone Wealth chief market strategist and host of Yahoo Finance's Trader Talk Kenny Polcari's latest comments. Polcari finds that the market is "playing it very safe at the moment" amid major disruptors, such as the transition into the new Trump administration and the headlines stirred up by Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).
