According to the association, over 12 lives have been lost in targeted attacks in the district within the past month, necessitating their call to action.
In a press statement, the chapter’s President, Seidu Awudu, urged the REGSEC and the Interior Ministry to ban motor riding and impose a curfew to address the insecurity situation in the district.
The association also called on the government and security agencies to intensify efforts to eliminate threats and ensure the safety of all civilians and security personnel in the Binduri district.
The association further called on the security agencies to intensify intelligence gathering and monitor transport routes to prevent the conveyance of weapons and ammunitions to the Bawku enclave.
